Welcome!

A Fun Way to Get to Know Your Students!

An often neglected part of classroom management is building relationships with students.

The Social Styles List is an easy-to-use tool that helps you start to see how young people tick and why they do what they do.

How to use the Social Styles List

• Read through and start to familiarize yourself with the four different researched-based Social Styles List.

• Then, by observing your students, start to see what Style category they each might fit in.

• You may even see how some students might share two different categories.

• Furthermore, the Circle of Community resource is a way to use the Social Styles List in a classroom activity where students identify their own style and get to find out why their friends and peers act the way they do!
